Certified Specialist in Operating Technology / Certified Operating Theatre Nurse

The operating theatre platform is an independent, interdisciplinary unit that unites all operating theatre areas of the Inselspital as well as the Aarberg and Riggisberg sites. The Clinic for Urology covers the entire spectrum of diagnostics and therapy for urological diseases, with a special focus on complex and minimally invasive procedures. As the largest stone centre in Switzerland, we treat around 2,000 inpatients and 15,000 outpatients annually from both domestic and international patients.

What to expect

• You will assist and instrument during operations while adhering to hygiene standards
• You will take responsibility for the proper preparation and aftercare of medical-technical devices
• You will perform site-adapted duties including weekend and on-call service
• You will handle administrative tasks such as operation-specific patient documentation and maintain standards and protocols
• You will support your team in on-the-job training and further education

What you bring

• Completed training as a Certified Specialist in Operating Technology or Certified Nurse HF / FH specialising in Operating Theatre
• Expertise in urology is preferred, but anyone willing to learn new skills is warmly welcome
• Resilient personality with planning and organisational skills, a sense of responsibility, and flexibility
