Your Tasks
- You are the central contact point for questions regarding occupational safety and health protection at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
- You advise and support managers, leadership bodies, and employees on occupational safety and health protection issues.
- You define the necessary safety rules and recommend measures based on the results of audits or your own inspections.
- You systematically clarify and record accidents and noticeable incidents.
- You are responsible for prevention and quality assurance. Among other things, you are responsible for digital learning offerings (e.g., e-learnings) as well as information on the internal intranet.
- You develop, update, and review safety and emergency concepts (topics: occupational safety / health protection).
- You are the contact person for the responsible authorities (SUVA, EKAS, chemical safety).
- You are the deputy of the safety officer in the areas of fire protection and threat management.
- You participate in case processing of threat management according to the four-eyes principle.
- You support the safety officer in leading the safety organization of HSLU.
Your Profile
- For this responsible task, you bring a completed technical or craft vocational training as well as further training as a specialist in occupational safety and health protection (or similar).
- You have several years of professional experience in occupational safety (occupational safety and health protection), ideally in a university context or a knowledge organization.
- You are a resilient specialist and work in a structured, reliable, and independent manner.
- You have a confident demeanor when dealing with internal contacts and possess fluent oral and written communication skills.
- You have a secure command of the German language and good IT user skills.
