Course Management "German and Integration" at the Locations Weinfelden and Amriswil 40 - 80% (at least 15 weekly lessons)
HEKS in-fra is an integration program for women, men, and children and offers German courses at various levels in the canton of Thurgau. Currently, these are 50 semester courses at 4 locations (Arbon, Amriswil, Weinfelden, and Kreuzlingen), conducted by 15 course managers. HEKS in-fra is also a qualified fide examination institution.
As reinforcement in our "German and Integration" in-fra team, we are looking for an experienced person starting February 2, 2026
- Preparation and implementation of language and integration courses for migrants (literacy to B1)
- Design of lessons according to the individual abilities and needs of the participants
- Content orientation according to the andragogical education concept of "HEKS in-fra" and the principles of "fide"
- Recording language skills, evaluating learning objectives
- Planning and evaluation discussions with participants
- Attendance controls, course evaluation
- Participation in internal training, team meetings, intervisions
- Diploma in adult education (at least SVEB - Certificate 1 or equivalent)
- Training "Language course instructors in the integration area (fide)" or willingness to complete it during the current year
- Experience in language teaching (German as a second language) with non-native speakers
- Intercultural skills, independence, and personal responsibility
- Flexibility regarding course location and teaching level as well as course types (specifications such as speaking training, reading & writing)
- A patient, understanding, empathetic, and resilient personality
- A participatory and role-based work environment with lots of responsibility and creative freedom
- Independent and varied activity in an intercultural context
