Within Group Finance, the Financial Reporting & Oversight (FRO) department is responsible for the production and oversight of regulatory reports, including those required by the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and FINMA. The Regulatory Reporting team is at the heart of these activities, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and supporting the bank’s digital transformation.
As a member of the Group Finance community, you will report to the Head of Regulatory Reporting. The role will involve close collaboration with Finance functional users and the technology team to ensure the successful redevelopment of critical data solutions.
Your role
You will play a key role in supporting the adaptation and optimization of data flows for regulatory reporting purposes, in the context of the on-going need to improve our reporting tools. You will leverage your strong analytical skills and understanding of regulatory requirements to ensure the integrity and reliability of data used for producing reports such as balance sheet, liquidity ratios, capital ratios, and large exposures.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Analyze, document, and challenge data flows feeding into regulatory reporting tools, in close collaboration with the IT department.
• Understand and formalize business needs related to regulatory reporting (SNB, FINMA), particularly regarding balance sheet, liquidity ratios, capital ratios, and large exposures.
• Participate in the transformation and quality assurance of data, ensuring its consistency, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proper integration of data flows into reporting tools.
• Contribute to the execution of data quality controls and the resolution of identified anomalies, applying best practices in data validation and reconciliation.
• Participate in the documentation of processes and data flows.
• Proactively suggest improvements to regulatory reporting processes.
• Support knowledge transfer and provide guidance to end users on new or updated reporting tools.
• Support the regulatory reporting production process.
Your profile
• Master’s degree in finance, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least five years’ experience in business/data analysis roles, ideally within a banking or financial environment.
• Solid understanding of Swiss regulatory reporting (SNB, FINMA) and the main related calculations (liquidity ratios, capital ratios, large exposures, etc.).
• Experience with Avaloq and regulatory reporting tools; knowledge of FiRE is a strong asset.
• Strong data manipulation and transformation skills; genuine interest in data and technology topics.
• Experience collaborating with technical (IT/Data) teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business and regulatory requirements.
• Strong adaptability, autonomy, curiosity, and a can-do attitude.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and functional stakeholders.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Must be a resident in Switzerland.
• No travel required.
