The privately run senior centre in the heart of Winterthur offers a living and life space for around 150 residents, where they feel comfortable and are cared for according to their needs. The Senior Centre Wiesengrund is a recognised and popular establishment in the healthcare sector.

Our highly motivated housekeeping team takes care of the basic and maintenance cleaning of the rooms and apartments of our residents, all public areas and ancillary rooms in the Senior Centre Wiesengrund, as well as laundry services.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start date for a

Housekeeping Specialist EFZ (m/f/d) 80 - 100%

What you can achieve with us:

• Carrying out maintenance and spot cleaning tasks (including residents’ rooms, living groups, public zones, office areas, infrastructure rooms, windows, cloakrooms)
• Intermediate and deep cleaning tasks
• Preparation of residents’ and operational laundry (sorting, stain treatment, washing)
• Folding and distributing operational and residents’ laundry
• Performing administrative tasks
• Inventory management and ordering
• Carrying out various housekeeping duties
• Relief assignments in floor service

What you bring with you:

• Very good written and spoken German skills and good listening comprehension of Swiss German
• Completed training as a Housekeeping Specialist EFZ or many years of experience
• IT experience (Word, Excel, digital ordering platforms)
• Quick comprehension and reliability
• A cool head in hectic situations
• Independence and adaptability in a very agile environment
• Willingness to work weekend and public holiday shifts
