Your tasks
- You develop and design format parts using 3D-CAD SolidWorks for our state-of-the-art machines for manufacturing tubes by the form pressing process
- Based on customer drawings, specifications or existing products such as tubes and caps, you derive the necessary design data and create production-ready product drawings
- You are responsible for the technical documentation from design to production release. This includes creating detailed manufacturing documents and handing over all relevant information to the planning department via PLM and SAP
- As an important interface between development, production and planning, you ensure that new format parts are implemented efficiently and existing solutions are continuously optimised
- With your technical know-how, you drive the further development of our format parts and make a significant contribution to offering our customers innovative and economical solutions
Your profile
- For this demanding role, you have a technical basic education with further training at HF level, ideally in tool technology, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of practical experience in toolmaking, mould making or constructive product development enable you to translate technical requirements into well-thought-out solutions
- Confident handling of CAD and PLM systems is part of your daily work; experience with SolidWorks is an advantage
- A structured and precise way of working as well as a pronounced technical understanding characterise you
- You are fluent in German and have good English skills, which you use especially in communication with our international colleagues
