In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks: You are leading a team of 6 - 8 Software EngineersYou are responsible for delivering software development projects on schedule while ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to budget constraints, all aligned with established portfolio prioritiesYou provide effective leadership that promotes teamwork and facilitates communication across geographical and functional boundaries, fostering collaboration and enhancing overall team performanceYou collaborate with product marketing, hardware engineering, project management, quality assurance, and business development teams to define software requirements and develop strategic software project roadmaps for AutoChem product solutionsYou optimize the application of technology and engineering resources to effectively meet user requirements for software productsYou cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement by promoting best practices, conducting code reviews, and facilitating knowledge sharingYou recruit and develop team members to fulfil skillset and capacity needs effectivelyYou stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the teamYou ensure the development and implementation of processes and tools that support effective software development, guaranteeing that products are comprehensively defined, documented, and testedYou oversee the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the team, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer approval requirementsYou engage in hands-on project management as necessary to achieve delivery goals.
