With nearly 250 employees driven by a love of the mountains and a desire to offer unforgettable experiences to our visitors, we bring the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil to life, from Champéry to Morgins. Our mission: to ensure efficient and safe facilities while providing our visitors with a quality mountain experience.

What you will do daily

• Safety and operations: you are responsible for the operational management of your sector (around 15 installations) and ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the facilities. You supervise commissioning, daily checks, and necessary measures to guarantee the safety of employees and visitors. You make decisions regarding the commissioning, suspension, or shutdown of the installations.
• Maintenance of installations: you plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance and inspection work with your teams and subcontractors to ensure compliant and well-maintained facilities.
• Team management: you unite, support, and develop your team daily (around 10 mechanics and electricians annually and 50 seasonal workers). You organise work, set priorities, monitor skills, and help establish a culture of safety, responsibility, and collaboration, while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations (LDT, OLDT).
• Incidents and emergencies: you coordinate interventions in case of breakdowns or incidents and follow up on events. You analyse situations encountered and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Resource management: you monitor material needs, stocks, and orders for your sector. You participate in maintenance budget planning and ensure efficient use of human and material resources.

Your profile

What you bring

• The federal certificate as a cable transport specialist (at minimum you are enrolled in the course or in the process of doing so)

• A vocational diploma (CFC) in a technical field or equivalent training.

• Comfort with MS Office and administrative tasks.

• A collaborative, rigorous, and organised mindset

• Proactive and dynamic: you take initiatives, both in a team and independently.

• Passionate about the mountains: even though your work is mostly indoors, the seasonal rhythm and variety of tasks motivate you.

• Available: you understand the specifics of seasonal tourism activity and appreciate a varied work rhythm, with increased availability during the winter operating periods.
