Job Description

Head of Product Quality High Precision and Automotive (HPA) GNSS We offer an interesting and challenging opportunity in the field of quality in our international multi-site locate business unit. As a business unit we have P&L responsibility over the high precision, timing and automotive GNSS portfolio of u-blox. We are serving the different market needs with product management and dedicated platform and product development teams complimented with a technology group that looks into evolving trends and technologies. The brand of u-blox is well known for its market leadership, advanced technology, customer intimacy as well as outstanding quality and support. To strengthen our commitment to excellence we combined the governance of all quality aspects in one organization reporting to the head of the business unit. This will improve our internal alignment, business agility and speed with setting the right priorities supported by short decision-making processes. Product quality in our BU includes the governance of all testing, verification and validation aspects, responsibilities of the test infrastructure, production testing, CI/CD toolchain as well as all process owners, process documentation and governance. We are looking for a committed and experienced manager and leader, who actively takes ownership and drives forward product quality aspects in our BU in order to enable the success of our products in the market.

Your Responsibilities

Establish a culture of quality across the business unit (all aspects) Manage and lead product quality teams Act as agile lead for the product quality organization Achieve quality goals in alignment with organizational objectives and product delivery timelines Align and collaborate with development and product strategy in the BU and with stakeholders outside the BU Plan and organize product quality roadmap (with strong focus on cyber security) Implement metrics to identify trends and improvement potential Drive the definition and implementation of the BU wide test strategy Drive the adoption of official standards (ASPICE, ISO standards) Plan and define the adoption and usage of tools related to product quality (testing and requirement tools, etc.) Plan and track test investment budget

Your Skills and Experience

Quality mindset Strong background in SW development and testing (embedded) Experience with definition and implementation of development processes Agile methodology Experience with development standards such as ASPICE, ISO 21434 etc. Experience in leading people and managing teams Personality that takes ownership and drives and still is a team player Fluent English language skill Knowledge in GNSS is considered a plus
