The Gasthof zum goldenen Kreuz is centrally located in the heart of the town of Frauenfeld. We have 60 seats in the gourmet à la carte restaurant and a lively and demanding banquet operation for up to 120 people. We offer our guests genuine hospitality in an upscale and stylish ambience. The goal is to delight guests with every visit and to convince them with consistent quality. With great dedication and passion, we ensure every day that our guests feel comfortable with us.

To support our kitchen brigade, we are looking for a cook – 100% immediately or by arrangement. In this role, you will independently and conscientiously manage an assigned kitchen station. Ideally, you are deployable in various stations (saucier, entremetier or garde manger). You always apply your expertise with great enthusiasm and are willing to pass on your knowledge to our apprentices and support them in their training. Ensuring the consistency and quality of the dishes and implementing and monitoring the hygiene concept is a matter of course for you.

Our expectations Cooking is your passion & enthusiasm. You have learned your craft and bring several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy. You are open to new things and ready to develop further and take on responsibility. To cope with our sometimes hectic working day, you must be resilient and a team player.
