Role:
For an established Swiss company in the construction and infrastructure sector, we are looking for an experienced individual to lead asset accounting. You will lead a small team, be responsible for key processes around depreciation, activations and closings, and simultaneously develop systems and procedures in your area of expertise.
Responsibilities:
You lead a team and support the employees both professionally and operationally
You are responsible for the monthly depreciation runs, activations and corresponding reconciliations
You manage sub-projects in the area of asset accounting
You check and code creditor invoices and assist with their approval
You ensure the correct creation and maintenance of asset data
You coordinate and support the year-end closing activities in asset accounting as well as the inventory
You manage the ERP system in the area of asset accounting and coordinate updates, tests and process adjustments
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education and solid knowledge of accounting
You bring leadership experience as well as experience in asset accounting
Ideally, you are familiar with Abacus in the areas of asset and financial accounting as well as project management
Fluent German language skills are required
