About the job
We are looking for an (Enterprise) Platform Architect for one of our clients for an entire Managed Capacity Team. The goal is to develop a comprehensive architecture (further). It needs to be clarified which topics/skills are overarching, which are specific to certain AI application areas, and which are solved locally (per project/application).
Key factors for shaping the architecture are
* Security (threats from outside, from inside): Identity and permissions, data protection and data classification.
* Regulation and compliance, traceability and audit
* Enabling (making AI technologies easy to use, self-service, automated compliance)
* Costs and economic efficiency
* Quality and reliability, operation and resilience
* Fit into the existing IT landscape, migration capability
* Integration and interoperability
The team works closely with the responsible departments and specialists of the end customer.
We are looking for people with proven experience in the design and further development of complex enterprise and platform architectures. In particular, the ability to translate strategic target images into concrete architectural decisions, standards, platform capabilities and actionable roadmaps is expected.
- Proven experience with AI/GenAI architectures in large organisations.
- Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, agent systems and protocols such as MCP or A2A as well as their risks (prompt injection, data leakage, hallucinations)
- Experience with security-by-design: Identity & Access Management (also for non-human identities and agents), data classification, zero trust
- Ability to present complex architecture understandably for different target groups, from management to development team
- Fluent in German, good English
- At least 2 references in the design or implementation of AI platforms or shared services, e.g. AI Gateway, Model Hub, Agent Runtime, Vector Stores, Knowledge Management
- In-depth knowledge of cloud and containers (Azure, AWS and/or Kubernetes) as well as API management
- Experience with observability for AI: tracing, evaluation and quality monitoring, cost tracking, audit trail (e.g. OpenTelemetry, Langfuse or similar)
- Experience in specifying services and evaluating products based on structured criteria
- Experience in a large, regulated organisation (public transport, energy, finance, administration)
- Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP Top 10 for LLM
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps as well as testing and release of models and agents (evals, red teaming, guardrails)
- Experience with self-service and platform engineering approaches (developer portal, golden paths)
- Experience with citizen development and low-code platforms (e.g. Power Platform)
