How you contribute:

• You lead the Meter Data Management team with four employees both personally and professionally and continuously develop organisation, processes and skills with regard to digitalisation and the increasing requirements in metering.
• Together with your team, you are responsible for the collection, preparation, plausibility checking and provision of the meter data of all remotely read media. This ensures high data quality and data availability as a basis for billing, network operation, energy management and new services.
• You and your team are responsible for the smart metering system platform and ensure reliable operation together with the ICT application team and system suppliers.
• You and your team ensure that new market requirements, products and regulatory specifications can be mapped in our meter data management systems and processes.
• You are the central contact person for meter data, coordinate disruptions in meter data operations and optimise recurring processes through standardisation and automation – for more efficiency, data quality and process reliability.

What you bring:

• You have a technical basic education with further training in electrical engineering/informatics at HF/FH level.
• You have experience in the energy industry, ideally with a focus on smart metering and a deep understanding of meter data collection, preparation and processing for electricity, gas, water and heat.
• You have sound knowledge of the EDM/MDM system landscape and its interaction along the meter-to-cash process chain. In addition, you are well acquainted with the regulatory requirements in metering.
• You think in a structured and analytical way and have a feel for the conception and optimisation of system-supported processes and data flows with a focus on data quality and end-to-end process reliability.
• You show a high intrinsic drive to optimise and automate recurring processes for sustainable efficiency improvement.
• You are a communicative, resilient and solution-oriented personality with leadership experience.
• A broad understanding of technology as well as a quick grasp and methodological competence characterise you.
