Is this helpful?
Dear customer,
We are pleased to provide you with our services in the areas of care, support, household services, and/or meal delivery. We see ourselves as guests in your home and place great value on a mutual relationship of trust and respect. As a customer, you have certain obligations towards our staff. You can learn more about this in the following organizational regulations. If you have any questions, we are always happy to assist you.
Registration and service times
Please note that initial services can only take place during the week and require a lead time of 48 hours. In emergencies, we will try to provide a service as quickly as possible. The service time can only be planned according to the availability of the staff. Since unforeseen events and emergencies can occur daily, there is a tolerance time of +/- 2 hours for the services. Acceptance of the needs assessment The scope of services is individually determined through a needs assessment. Only medically necessary - and not further desirable - care services can be provided and billed through health insurance. Likewise, household and caregiving services - even during childbirth and postpartum - can only be provided with the consideration of the cantonal contributions if they correspond to a demonstrated need in the sense of the cantonal health care law. The use of desired additional services at cost price is generally possible, provided that personnel resources are available. If necessary, further service offers such as hairdressing, foot care, handyman services, etc. can be arranged. Participation and cooperation
The Spitex provides services only if you are present. During the service, your personal resources, those of your relatives, and your social environment are taken into account. 1
There is a legal obligation to participate within your possibilities. Cooperation and a mutual understanding of the role of the Spitex staff is expected from you and your relatives. Household services will not be provided if there are sufficient resources in the environment whose use is reasonable and acceptable, and consequently, there is no need and thus no entitlement in the sense of the cantonal health care law. Differences between Spitex and relatives must be clarified. Emergency situations and self-endangerment In defined cases, a nursing emergency service is provided around the clock. However, we do not provide medical emergency services in life-threatening situations. In these cases, the rescue service (144) should be alerted. If our staff happens to be on-site in such a situation, they will provide assistance according to their training and experience until the rescue arrives. If customers endanger themselves or their environment, we will inform the relatives and the treating physician. In severe cases (neglect, aggressive and conspicuous behavior, severe neglect, endangerment of others and/or self-endangerment), we are obliged to report to the adult protection authority KESB. 1 Law for the protection of health in the canton of Graubünden (Health Law; BR 500.000), Art. 51, lit. 1 to 3 Organizational regulations saved: 02.05.24 PV: Anna- [Status] Page: 1 (3)
