As part of the succession plan, we are looking for a customer-oriented, motivated, and communicative personality (m/f/d) for our Cloud team in Cham / ZG immediately or by agreement as
Head of Cloud Solutions 100 %
Main objective of the position:
In this varied role, you will work with your team on the day-to-day business in the Cloud area and drive it forward. You act as a link between service providers and resellers and maintain close contact with manufacturers and customers. Even in challenging times, you can motivate your team and create a vision as well as a common goal. You enjoy working strategically and on various levels, but you always keep an overview. You continue to position our company as a competent cloud provider and report your successes to the Managing Director.
Your challenge:
- Personnel and technical leadership of the Cloud team, including coaching, further development & lived team spirit
- Responsibility for budget, revenue, profit & pipeline
- Support of team members in implementing the business plans with the respective cloud providers/manufacturers
- Ongoing market and competitor analyses and subsequent activities for productivity enhancement
- Development of the cloud business and sales & marketing tools
- Intensive maintenance of personal contacts on both supplier and customer sides and acquisition of new customers
- Examination and, if necessary, implementation of new market trends in the area of activity
- Support of the supervisor in defining strategic measures
- Consulting and support of assigned key accounts in product selection and licensing
- Development of tailored solutions and offers for and with our resellers
- Driving initiatives for strategic process and measure optimization as well as ensuring the successful implementation of them
- Active participation in forecast, leadership, team, and performance meetings as well as active involvement in the European Cloud Leader team of Ingram Micro
- Together with your team, you represent Ingram Micro at trade fairs and promotional events
- Building and optimizing local reporting and process structures
Your profile:
- Solid commercial or technical training with further education in business administration/management and in the cloud environment (services, network)
- Several years of experience in the cloud and IT environment, ideally in distribution
- Experience in business development
- Leadership experience, proactive qualities, affinity for numbers, and high team capability
- Excellent (CH) German skills, very good English skills (at least B2), (good French skills are an advantage)
- Swiss driver's license (Category B), willingness to travel 10-20%
- Solution-oriented, resilient, and reliable personality with analytical and conceptual thinking as well as a great willingness to learn
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and independent working style
