YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Leading the final assembly department with around 50 to 80 employees and actively further developing the leadership organisation
- Promoting, developing and empowering employees as well as ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer
- Ensuring the timely, cost- and quality-compliant completion of rail vehicles and their on-time handover to commissioning
- Planning and managing personnel and organisational resources in close coordination with relevant interfaces
- Responsibility for compliance with quality standards and representing final assembly in internal and external audits
- Active participation in the continuous improvement of processes, workflows and structures to increase quality, productivity and efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, environmental and quality requirements
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical basic training, supplemented by further education (e.g. industrial foreman or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in an industrial environment as well as solid leadership experience; business management training is an advantage
- Strong leadership skills and enjoyment in promoting, developing and inspiring employees towards common goals
- Entrepreneurial thinking with high initiative
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and the ability to provide clear guidance and make decisions
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
- High IT affinity (MS Office, SAP, etc.)
