SAP/VC Specialist Masterdata (a) 80 – 100%
In this role, you are a central part of our production and master data processes. You ensure the quality of our production-relevant master data, actively develop our SAP and variant configurator landscape and contribute to the digitalisation and automation of our master data and production planning processes.
Masterdata at Trafag combines product knowledge, manufacturing understanding, SAP expertise, variant logic, data quality and process development. With clean master data, stable SAP structures and VC-driven product logics, we create the foundation for scalable processes, fewer manual interventions and higher data quality.
- Ensuring and continuously improving master data quality in SAP S/4HANA
- Modelling, maintaining and further developing the SAP variant configurator / LO-VC as well as participating in VC rollouts for central product groups
- Creating, maintaining and optimising bills of materials, routings, work centres, standard times and production-relevant master data
- Analysing, standardising and optimising production planning, master data and production processes
- Identifying and implementing automation potentials in master data, VC and process workflows
- Cleaning, structuring and centralising existing data sources, Excel lists and documentation structures
- Contributing to the establishment of a central master data platform for enquiries, tasks, tracking, documents and product-related information
- Supporting phase-in, phase-out, discontinuations and product migrations
- Close collaboration with production, planning, development, product management, sales, IT and supply chain operations
- Participation in projects related to master data, SAP, VC, process digitalisation and automation
- Technical basic training in production, industrial or technical environment
- Very good SAP knowledge, ideally in SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with SAP variant configuration, ideally LO-VC or AVC
- Understanding of bills of materials, routings, work centres, product structures, variant logic and manufacturing processes
- Experience in production planning, master data maintenance, order processing or production-related process design
- High IT affinity and enthusiasm for digitalisation, automation and process improvement
- Structured, precise and solution-oriented working style
- Ability to understand complex relationships between product logic, SAP, master data and production
- Enjoyment in not only executing processes but actively improving them
- Team spirit, initiative and high quality standards for your own work
- A key role in the further development of master data, SAP and variant configuration with high personal responsibility
