The Institute of General Practice (IHAMZ) of the University Hospital Zurich (USZ) and the University of Zurich (UZH) is looking immediately for a physician or a medical student in the 6th year of study for quality control of automated coding.

Your Tasks
As part of a current research project, we are using large language models for ICD-10 coding of free-text diagnoses from electronic medical records. Your task is to check whether the assigned codes correspond to the respective diagnoses. Your assessments serve as a reference to evaluate and specifically optimise the accuracy of the automated coding. The review is carried out via a specially developed, intuitive user interface.
Your Profile
- Advanced or completed medical studies (6th year of study up to approx. 2 years of professional experience)
- Very good German language skills (level C2)
- Precise, reliable and independent working style
- Previous experience in internal medicine or general practice is an advantage
