As part of the development of our office, we are looking for a HES civil engineer specialising in structures, ideally with 3 to 5 years of experience, to join our team.

At AMO, we prioritise direct communication, close client relationships and close collaboration between engineers, technicians and draftsmen.

YOUR ACTIVITY

Your activity will cover different phases of projects, from initial studies to monitoring their realisation.

You will notably be required to:

• Carry out studies and sizing of load-bearing structures in reinforced concrete, steel and wood.
• Perform static calculations and verifications according to current SIA standards.
• Develop structural concepts and propose technical solutions adapted to project constraints.
• Prepare calculation notes, technical reports and documents necessary for the various SIA phases.
• Collaborate directly with draftsmen for the development of formwork, reinforcement plans and execution details.
• Ensure technical coordination with architects, specialised engineers and other contractors.
• Participate in the preparation of tenders, analysis of offers and awards.
• Ensure technical monitoring of projects during the realisation phase.
• Participate in site meetings, execution controls and exchanges with companies.
• Maintain relationships with clients and various project partners.
• Contribute to the development of working methods and the technical skills of the office.

Depending on your experience and development, you will gradually be able to take full responsibility for certain mandates, from design to realisation.

YOUR PROFILE

• HES civil engineer diploma or equivalent training.
• Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering office in Switzerland.
• Good knowledge of calculation and sizing of load-bearing structures.
• Mastery of SIA standards and Swiss construction practices.
• Experience in reinforced concrete structures; knowledge of steel and wood is appreciated.
• Good command of common calculation and sizing tools.
• Knowledge of BIM tools and Revit is an advantage.
• Ability to manage several files and organise your work autonomously.
• Rigorous, pragmatic personality oriented towards finding solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills and interest in exchanges with clients and partners.
• Very good command of French, both spoken and written.
