You will work interdisciplinarily with experienced engineers and develop solutions for modern machines and automated systems.

Area of Activity

You develop innovative control and automation solutions for machines and process plants – from the initial idea to successful commissioning. Together with interdisciplinary teams, you will realise exciting projects in a wide range of industries. We place great value on personal exchange and direct collaboration within the team. For this reason, the activity mainly takes place at our location in Zurich.

In doing so, you will work on, among other things:

• Planning of resources, schedules and work packages
• Support with effort estimations and quotations
• Control of costs and project progress
• Coaching and professional support of less experienced employees, process analyses and technical concepts
• Requirements engineering and system architectures
• Hardware/software design and PLC programming
• Testing, commissioning and troubleshooting
• Evaluation of components and suppliers
• Technical support of manufacturing and integration
• Troubleshooting and optimisation of existing systems
• Presentation and discussion of technical solutions with customers

Requirements

• Engineering degree (FH, ETH or equivalent), preferably in electrical engineering, automation or systems engineering
• Experience in the development of control or automation solutions
• Knowledge of PLC/control technology and software engineering
• Understanding of electrical engineering, sensor technology, actuators and drive technology
• Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and direct customer contact
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a confident manner
• Personalities who enjoy working closely with customers and interdisciplinary teams
• Very good German and English skills (C1) in spoken and written form
