Our modern logistics centre with around 180 employees ensures that the branches and our online customers are supplied with goods daily. Thanks to efficient and cost-effective logistics, we can offer our customers an optimal range.
For our team of around 50 people, we are looking for an employee for goods dispatch with the additional function as deputy team leader.
You are part of a well-coordinated team and ensure that our goods reliably and punctually reach their destination.
Your area of responsibility:
- You support the team leader in the professional management and coordination of employees in the operational day-to-day business
- You act as deputy for your team leader within the defined area of responsibility
- You coordinate and prioritise work orders and goods flows and ensure a smooth process in daily operations
- You assist with demand-based deployment planning and ensure optimal distribution of employees and resources
- In addition to your daily tasks in goods dispatch, you support goods preparation, loading, as well as the processing of returns and disposals
- You ensure an efficient material flow and the timely and high-quality provision of goods for branch delivery
- You ensure compliance with quality, safety, and process standards and actively contribute to the optimisation of workflows and processes
- You monitor the systems and conveyor belts, coordinating necessary measures in case of technical malfunctions
Our requirements:
- You have completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ, retail specialist EFZ, or have a comparable education or further training
- You bring several years of professional experience in goods dispatch or a comparable logistics function and are familiar with the relevant processes and procedures
- Ideally, you already have experience in team coordination or professional leadership
- You have experience in transport, document processing, and controlling goods and material flows
- You are proficient in using ERP/WMS systems as well as common MS Office applications and have good digital user skills
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and are characterised by a high sense of responsibility and strong team orientation
- You communicate confidently in German, both spoken and written; knowledge of French and a forklift licence are advantageous
