Specialist ALV / KAST 80 - 100 %In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The labor market policy competencies are bundled in the AFA. Around 650 employees work at more than 20 locations. The Unemployment Insurance Department (ALV / KAST) of the AFA ensures uniform enforcement of the federal law on compulsory unemployment insurance and insolvency compensation at the cantonal level. To strengthen the existing ALV teams "Team B" & "Team C", we are looking for a committed personality to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- independent handling of diverse insurance cases (sanctions & decisions regarding entitlement as well as waiver requests) based on the relevant legal foundations
- drafting of appealable decisions
- obtaining relevant documents and conducting interviews with insured persons
- contact with the insured, employers, unemployment insurance funds, regional employment centers (RAV), as well as other internal and external offices
Your profile:
- completed 3-year commercial basic training or an equivalent education
- at least three years of professional experience in qualified case management in the (social) insurance environment
- completed further training in the field of social insurance is an advantage
- very proficient user knowledge in MS Office
- confident command of the German language (both spoken and written)
- skilled interaction with various stakeholders
- logical-analytical thinking ability and efficient working style
