The Dr. Stephan à Porta Foundation has been committed for many years to preserving and creating affordable housing. We own and manage around 1,400 apartments in the city of Zurich. With our surplus, we also support charitable institutions in Zurich and the canton of Graubünden.
Socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable action is not just a claim for us, but part of our daily practice.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated individual who will manage our properties with a great deal of personal responsibility and ensure that our tenants feel at home.
Your role – Your properties
You will take responsibility for the properties assigned to you and be the first point of contact on site for our tenants.
A varied working day awaits you:
- You independently manage and inspect the properties assigned to you.
- You are a competent and friendly contact person for our tenants and handle concerns related to the properties.
- You monitor technical systems and carry out minor maintenance, repair, and upkeep work yourself.
- You coordinate external craftsmen and service partners and check the work performed.
- You actively support apartment changes, inspections, and minor repairs.
- You work closely with the office.
- Your area of operation: approx. 80 properties in the city of Zurich
What you bring
More important than a perfect CV is that you are technically and practically skilled, take responsibility, and enjoy working with people.
Ideally, you bring the following:
- A completed craft or technical training
- Experience in caretaking, building maintenance, or a comparable technical environment
- Good technical and practical skills
- Knowledge of building technology, especially plumbing, heating, or ventilation, is a plus
- An independent, reliable, and responsible working style
- Enjoyment of personal contact with diverse people
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Driving licence category B
