The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. The organisation effectively combines a local approach with an overall vision, ensuring the population a comprehensive and local hospital offer, regardless of where the services are required.
Thanks to the commitment and expertise of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relations, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.
To complete our team in the Logistics Service of the EOC Industrial Services Centre, we are looking for a
Logistics Clerk (100%)
Profile:
The logistics clerk is responsible for ensuring, in compliance with current safety regulations and directives, the precise and timely execution of goods reception, storage, and distribution activities within the Institute.
Main tasks will include:
- Internal handling of goods
- Reception, inspection, and distribution of incoming goods
- Preparation of shipments
- Storage
- Loading and unloading of transport vehicles
- Supervision of processes and work equipment
- Packaging and quality control
- Unloading sterilisation plants and ensuring their monitoring (level 1 sterilisation technician certificate required)
Required qualifications:
- Federal certificate of capacity as logistics clerk or equivalent qualification
- Category B driving licence
- Forklift driving licence (desirable)
- Good knowledge of main IT applications; knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Organisational skills
- Willingness to work shifts
- Willingness to attend the course to obtain the level 1 sterilisation technician certificate and any other refresher courses
- Excellent spoken and written Italian and preferably knowledge of a second national language
- Respect for quality, safety, hygiene, environmental protection, and cost-effectiveness principles in carrying out one’s activities
- Identification with the values and mission of EOC
- Establishes effective and constructive relationships with internal and external clients and colleagues, gaining their trust and striving to meet their needs
- Works towards objectives and is result-oriented
