Head of Air Freight (m/f)

Your tasks

• You are responsible for order acceptance as well as the scheduling and organisational handling of goods transports (containers, full loads, refrigerated loads)
• You coordinate the transports according to schedule and demand and ensure careful maintenance of supplier and material master data
• As a professional leader, you take on the leadership and further development of the team and ensure high quality in daily order processing
• Your responsibilities include order documentation as well as the administrative handling of transports
• You independently prepare offers and invoices and act as a competent contact person for customers and forwarding agents
• Handling complaints and damage cases also belongs to your area of responsibility
• As the safety officer, you ensure compliance with the relevant BAZL guidelines and the requirements in the RegB area and actively support the implementation of the Sieber QM standard.

Our requirements

• A commercial basic training as a forwarding agent, completed further training at the level of the Higher Professional Examination, and proven professional experience in a comparable position are required
• You also bring proven experience in successful customer care as well as in acquiring and developing new customers
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, are required; any additional foreign language is an advantage
• As a team player, you convince with friendly, customer-oriented manners and a professional appearance
