For the Radioanalytics Environment group, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Conducting sampling tours as part of environmental monitoring
- Analysis and evaluation of environmental samples as well as food and material samples
- Preparation of quarterly and annual reports on environmental monitoring
- Analysis of commissioned samples (e.g., food or material samples) for radioactive traces
- Routine analyses of incorporation samples
- Supervision and quality assurance of analytical instruments (e.g., conducting functional checks and validation measurements)
- Maintenance of the field-installed sampling equipment (e.g., air filter systems, water collectors, dust catch plates, rainwater collection containers)
- Working in monitoring and control areas
Your profile
- You have a vocational qualification as a chemical laboratory technician and several years of laboratory experience. Ideally, you are already familiar with inorganic sample digestion methods and are experienced in preparative chromatography
- Valid driver's license of category B
- Solid experience in trace analysis and operation of analytical instruments such as gamma detectors, alpha spectrometers, beta LSC, and ICP-MS
- In-depth user knowledge of laboratory databases (LIMS) and Microsoft Office
