Transport Dispatcher

About the job

You work 100% – primarily in Zug, with the possibility to work partially remotely

• You plan and dispatch transports as well as tour runs in day-to-day business – with the aim that deliveries arrive reliably, economically and at the right time in the right place
• You coordinate the collaboration between customers, internal interfaces and external freight forwarders. You ensure that information flows, expectations are clear and many individual agreements become a functioning overall process
• You record, maintain and check transport-relevant master data. Because you know: Good dispatching starts with data you can rely on
• You use our dispatching tools as well as ERP/SAP and MS Office applications confidently and bring structure to daily transport planning
• You support the management of our fleet – from coordinating service and garage appointments to handling damage reports
• You recognise deviations and bottlenecks early, prioritise pragmatically and find solutions that really work in day-to-day business
• You work closely with your team and actively contribute your experience to continuously develop processes and sustainably ensure the quality of our logistics

• You have a vocational diploma EFZ, ideally in the field of road transport, transport and logistics or a comparable qualification. Further training as a Transport & Logistics Dispatcher is an advantage
• You already have experience in transport, dispatch or a comparable logistical environment and know the dynamics of operational day-to-day business
• You enjoy working with digital systems and have proficient IT skills, especially in ERP/SAP systems, MS Office and dispatching tools
• You communicate confidently in at least two national languages – both written and spoken – and find the right tone with customers, partners and internal interfaces even in demanding situations
• You organise yourself independently, think solution-oriented and remain calm, clear and capable of acting even with several topics running simultaneously
• You enjoy coordination, collaboration and making a reliable process out of many moving parts

The SCM Outbound / Logistics CC department ensures that V-ZUG devices, accessories and spare parts arrive reliably, punctually and efficiently where they are needed: with our customers, trading partners and service points. For this, we coordinate a large number of transports, tours and interfaces daily and keep an overview even when it gets complex.

Because logistics is much more to us than just transporting from A to B. It connects production, sales, service and customers into a functioning overall chain. To make this interplay succeed even under high speed and changing requirements, it takes people who think ahead, take responsibility and find pragmatic solutions.
