To ensure NZZ optimally utilises the opportunities of AI and safely manages risks, we are creating a new position in the strategy team. You will be responsible for the successful AI adoption across the entire company and ensure that efficiency gains as well as revenue potentials are realised.

Your tasks

• Business Impact: Understand and track AI adoption, co-design and take responsibility for efficiency targets, develop revenue potentials together with relevant stakeholders, develop reusable standards jointly with the departments (e.g. for reviewing new use cases), be responsible for internal KPI reporting.
• Strategic AI Initiatives: Conduct market screening of AI applications in the media and tech market, identify new opportunities together with the internal "AI Champions" network, highlight scaling options for identified use cases, prioritise new AI use cases via the relevant governance formats, maintain an overview of AI use cases and areas of application, support departments in introducing new processes, develop binding recommendations on cross-departmental AI tools.
• Organisational Enablement: Coordinate "AI Champions" from the departments, share best practices internally, enable leaders as multipliers of the transformation, introduce non-users to AI through targeted change management, implement targeted AI learning, communication and exchange formats in collaboration with HR and communications.
• Risk Management: Further develop AI governance together with CISO & DPO, translate strategic guardrails into everyday practice and identify application-related risks early.

Your profile

• Completed studies in a technical or business field with a strong affinity for new technologies and innovation.
• Excellent understanding of artificial intelligence, IT architectures, governance, legal frameworks, and change management methods.
• Practical experience in applying generative AI (especially LLMs such as Google Gemini) and advanced prompt engineering.
• Proactive working style and the ability to create new structures within a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and mediation skills across different departments (liaison function), assertiveness, strategic and analytical thinking, stakeholder management at C-level.
• At least 8 years of experience in leading cross-departmental technical initiatives, change management, and the introduction and scaling of technological innovations.
• Several years of experience in the operational management of AI-based solutions.
