Swiss Südostbahn AG (SOB) connects people and regions and stands for reliable and future-oriented public transport. In the course of further developing its logistics organisation, we are looking on behalf of SOB for a committed leader as Head of Warehouse Logistics 80-100% (a).

Tasks
In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to sustainably shape an important area within SOB. You will operate in a versatile environment that combines operational proximity with long-term development.

• You lead and develop the warehouse logistics teams at the Herisau and Samstagern locations with their two group leaders and have budget and cost responsibility
• You optimise cross-location logistics and material processes and further develop warehouse logistics into a forward-looking internal business partner
• You actively participate in digitalisation and SAP projects and ensure the successful implementation of new processes and solutions
• You work closely with maintenance, engineering, work preparation and purchasing and ensure a high quality of logistics services

Requirements
For this versatile role, we are looking for a personality who is confident both in the operational environment and at different hierarchical levels. Your ability to bring people together and turn ideas into concrete improvements is crucial.

• You have a solid education in logistics, supply chain management or business administration and bring leadership experience from a logistics-related environment
• You have a good understanding of cross-departmental processes and experience in optimising and further developing workflows
• You have good SAP (MM/EWM) knowledge and ideally have already participated in digitalisation, change or logistics projects
• You convince with organisational skills, clear communication and a pragmatic hands-on mentality with an affinity for effectiveness and efficiency
