Operational Support Scientist (m/f/d)

In this role, you support the department management with operational and strategic tasks and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes. You act as the scientific interface between production, engineering, and quality and take responsibility for projects and process optimizations.

Your main tasks include:

• Support in operational and strategic activities in the Filling Line III area
• Leading and implementing improvement projects to increase efficiency and process safety
• Participation in deviation investigations, CAPA management, and change control processes
• Participation in CAPEX projects, especially in the implementation and commissioning of new equipment or process optimizations
• Creation and maintenance of recipes and process parameters in plant control
• Creation and updating of documents such as work instructions (SOPs), risk analyses (e.g., FMEAs), and other GMP-relevant documents
• Preparation and support of internal and external audits as well as regulatory inspections
• Close collaboration with interfaces such as engineering, automation, quality, and project delivery

You bring the following qualifications and professional experience:

• Completed studies in the scientific or technical field (e.g., process engineering, biotechnology, chemical engineering)
• Professional experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food processing industry
• Experience in aseptic manufacturing, ideally in sterile filling or sterile filtration
• Solid knowledge of the GMP environment and the application of quality systems
• Experience with technical production equipment, automation systems, or process control systems is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain an overview even in dynamic situations
• Proactive personality with high initiative and strong communication skills
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills
