About the job

As a Senior Application Integration Developer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions mainly with SAP BTP Integration Suite.

Establish data flows to optimize the interaction of internal systems like SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, StiboStep or CimDB and also contribute to digital business projects through our customer-centric online platforms

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the analysis of integration requirements and designing robust solutions to meet business objectives.
• Developing and overseeing the implementation of integration processes using advanced middleware and APIs.
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of enterprise applications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues to maintain optimal system performance and reliability.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for integration solutions.
• Conducting rigorous testing and validation to ensure integrations meet high standards of functionality and performance.
• Monitoring and optimizing integration performance to enhance overall system efficiency.
• Providing expert technical support and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in application integration and recommending improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with security standards in all integration processes.

Expertise and methodology:

• Several years of expertise in integration technologies, and API management platforms preferably with exposure to SAP Cloud Integration Suite
• Experience with modern integration techniques with SAP S4 with ODATA services and Event Mesh.
• Exposure to all SAP Master Data structure and interfaces-Material Master, BOMs, Classification, Price Conditions to be able to design robust and modern master data interfaces with SAP
• Exposure to interfacing with any PLM/PDM systems, any MDM centric solution and Salesforce
• In-depth knowledge of web services, APIs, RESTful architecture, SOAP, JSON, XML GraphQL and other data exchange formats.
• Exposure to Data Integration (ETL/ELT) with any modern Cloud Data Integration Platforms -Microsoft Fabric or SAP Analytical Cloud (SAC)-SAP Datasphere on BTP would be an added advantage
• Familiarity with security protocols and standards related to data integration and communication.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex integration challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Proven experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing integration solutions.

Work experience:

• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT integration, with overall at least 12+ years any IT role

Other requirement criteria:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter and ability to work within team with proven ability to lead integration design across different teams
• Independent and structured way of working / analytical thinking
• Quick understanding of technical and complex issues
• Organizational talent
• Fluent English (B2/C1), German an added value
