The Economics Division provides services within the IPI that deal with all economic aspects of intellectual property law from a macroeconomic and partly business economics perspective. Politico-economic questions relating to mostly legal matters play an important role.
Economic Intern (m/f/d)
What to expect with us
- You write background reports on economic policy topics in the field of intellectual property law
- You support specialised legal services with economically sound input
- You assist in managing various studies commissioned to third parties
- You draft speaking notes, presentation components, economic clarifications
- You help prepare the events organised by the IPI in view of the AI Summit 2027 in Geneva
- You prepare a current economic issue in the field of intellectual property and present it
What makes you successful
- Completed studies in economics (at least Bachelor’s degree)
- Native German speaker with good French and very good English skills
- Interest in political economy and in the economic analysis of law
- Interest in practical, applied economics and in the functioning of the federal administration
- Quick comprehension, analytical and interconnected thinking skills
- Solution- and goal-oriented as well as precise working style
- Committed, versatile and a team player
- Very good MS Office skills
