Senior Business Controller (m/f/d)

What we can offer you

• You support the management, the board of directors and the departments with sound analyses, ad-hoc evaluations and clear recommendations for action in strategic and operational decisions.
• You evaluate new partnerships, contracts and services using business cases and profitability calculations.
• You coordinate budget, forecast and medium-term planning, validate the planning data and are responsible for the monthly management reporting including variance analyses and deriving appropriate measures.
• You link operational key figures such as teleconsultations, cases and contacts with financial results, thus creating transparency about business development.
• You ensure group reporting to the Otto Group including cash reporting and liquidity forecasting.
• You support the monthly closing, especially with accruals and intercompany reconciliations, and collaborate on IFRS topics, for example in the transition to IFRS 18.
• You continuously develop reporting and planning processes, drive their automation forward and participate in cross-departmental projects, for example in system implementations or the development of new service offerings.

Your profile

• Completed studies in business administration (university/FH) or federal diploma in accounting and controlling
• Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in business controlling or FP&A
• Sound IFRS knowledge and experience in group reporting
• Very good Excel skills including financial modelling; experience with BI tools and ERP systems
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Confident in German and very good in English, both spoken and written
• Experience with Abacus, Apliquo or Lucanet is an advantage
