Description: The Wildnispark Zürich comprises the first nationally recognised nature experience park Sihlwald and Langenberg as a scientifically managed zoo with native wild animals. Nature conservation, education, recreation and research are the central concerns of the Wildnispark Zürich Foundation.

Activities: Assistance with park maintenance
- Enclosure maintenance (cleaning and care of vegetation; inspection and repair of fences)
- Path maintenance (cleaning and repair of paths)
- Maintenance of other facilities (supplementing railings and fences)
- Care of hedges, plantings and young growth
Further activities are possible:
- Agriculture (forage harvesting, meadow care, tree care)
- Assistance in animal care (preparing food, feeding, enclosure cleaning)
- Assistance at visitor events
Required knowledge:
- Craft training
- Experience in handling animals
- Driving licence category B
Desired knowledge: Good interaction with our visitors
Mandatory course: Chainsaw handling
Introductory course: From 54 days of service, attendance of the training course "Environment and Nature Conservation" at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW is a prerequisite. The course attendance is organised by the civil service. The costs are covered by the federal government.
Minimum duration: 6 months
Working time model: Fixed working hours
Working hours: 42 hrs/week, weekend shifts possible, no night work
