The Rose City Rapperswil-Jona is looking to fill the following position by agreement:

Caretaker (Property Supervisor) as Relief Worker (100%) What you will achieve

In this exciting role, you will cover for various school facilities and be responsible for maintenance and cleaning, monitoring building services, servicing machines and equipment, as well as caring for the outdoor areas. You will independently carry out minor repairs. Depending on the school facility, you will also be responsible for operating the indoor swimming pool, including monitoring, compliance with, and regulation of water quality. Occasional work on weekends and evenings is no problem for you.

What you bring

• Completed vocational training as a specialist in operational maintenance or in a craft profession
• Further training as a caretaker with a federal professional certificate is an advantage
• Professional experience as a pool attendant with a brevet (igba or SLRG) or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent interpersonal skills, independent and reliable working style, and enjoyment in collaborating with various contacts (property supervisors, cleaning staff, teachers, pupils)
• Technical understanding and very good German language skills
• Driving licence category B
• Residence in Rapperswil-Jona or an immediately adjacent municipality is a requirement
