At ZFV, you will jointly take responsibility with a colleague for the restaurants of SBB staff catering and shape their further development with foresight, heart, and entrepreneurial instinct.
Your establishments and customers are located in the cantons ZH, SO, BE, SZ UR and TI, which you efficiently manage through your travel activities. In addition to all the necessary tools for mobile working, a modern office workstation is always available to you at our headquarters.

Our task menu
- Economically further develop gastronomy mandates, identify potential and open up new opportunities.
- Maintain trusting relationships with our clients and strengthen cooperation in the long term.
- Keep an eye on budgets and key figures, assess developments and derive effective measures from them.
- Support management personnel, promote employees and assist teams in being successful together.
- Translate the ZFV strategy into concrete goals and actively drive implementation with the establishments.
- Strengthen cooperation between establishments and specialist departments, utilise synergies and sensibly further develop processes.
- Shape changes and projects, for example in the areas of digitalisation and sustainability, together with those involved.
Your recipe for success
- Several years of leadership experience (at least 5 years) in gastronomy and enjoyment in taking responsibility for several establishments or outlets.
- Sound knowledge of communal or system gastronomy and a good sense of customer needs and economic contexts.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical skills and the ability to turn ideas into concrete results.
- Appreciative, clear communication and enjoyment in empowering people and bringing together different perspectives.
- Courage to initiate changes, try new paths and act solution-oriented even in demanding situations.
- Good IT skills, especially in MS Office.
- Fluent German skills; French or English skills are a plus.
