Company Description
The Office for Economic Affairs of the Liechtenstein National Administration (www.avw.llv.li) is responsible for the areas of economy and labour. We oversee the topics of trade, location promotion, working conditions, goods traffic, intellectual property law, research & development, energy as well as casinos. Furthermore, we are responsible for employment services and unemployment insurance. The department for benefits in case of loss of earnings particularly covers the topics of short-time work compensation, bad weather compensation and insolvency compensation.
Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- Leadership and further development of the department
- Examination and assessment of applications in the area of short-time work, bad weather and insolvency compensation
- Legally secure decision-making taking into account legal requirements and economic framework conditions
- Collaboration with internal and external specialist offices, especially on legal issues
- Analysis, optimisation and further development of processes and workflows
- Leadership and participation in projects
Qualifications
You are particularly characterised for this position by:
- Commercial training with specific further education such as social insurance specialist with federal diploma or equivalent
- Extensive practical experience in the social insurance sector, ideally in unemployment insurance
- Comprehensive knowledge of the legal foundations of unemployment insurance
- Leadership experience
- High analytical skills as well as a pronounced understanding of business management contexts
- Experience in legally secure preparation of statements and decisions in complex matters
- Entrepreneurial thinking as well as affinity for digital processes and new technologies
