We turn on the tap and receive fresh drinking water. The water supply ensures that the population and businesses are adequately supplied with water of good quality and creates the technical conditions for this. The operation around the clock requires willingness to be on call duty.

Your daily challenges. You…

• monitor and maintain the drinking water network as well as wells, pumping stations, reservoirs, spring catchments and the control centre.
• carry out orders independently according to instructions and work directives.
• work in pipeline construction and lay main and connection pipes.
• repair pipeline breaks and carry out corresponding repairs and take on on-call duty.

The skills you bring. You…

• have completed training as a sanitary installer, heating installer, pipeline fitter or an equivalent qualification with a federal certificate of competence (FCE).
• are willing to further your education in the field of drinking water.
• hold a category B driving licence.
• ideally live in Pratteln or the surrounding area.
• work independently and reliably and appreciate teamwork.
