As a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA), you work at the interface between doctors, nursing, and administration. You bring your medical expertise, organizational skills, and empathetic nature into the daily care of our geriatric patients.

Your Tasks
Classic areas of responsibility:
- Organization of daily practice: working at reception, telephone service, appointment scheduling, administration, correspondence and electronic medical records, writing protocols as well as transcription from dictation
- Laboratory work: performing blood draws (venous/capillary), vaccinations, infusions (especially Ferinject) as well as simple laboratory tests (including internal and external quality controls)
- Assistance or performance of e.g. wound dressing and ear irrigations
- Application and removal of 24h ECGs and 24h blood pressure measurements
- Ensuring medical billing and invoice control (TARMED, SwissDRG)
- Close cooperation and communication with doctors, nursing, and interprofessional teams
Special tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Process optimization: You identify improvement potentials in administrative and medical workflows, develop practical solutions, and support their implementation (e.g. within Lean Hospital, Kaizen, or Six Sigma projects).
- Vocational training: As an MPA trainer, you take care of, promote, and support our apprentices in daily life – thus actively contributing to the development of the next generation of MPAs.
- Project participation: You contribute to internal hospital projects, especially in the areas of quality, digitalization, and interprofessional collaboration.

Your Profile
- Completed training as MPA EFZ, ideally with experience in practice or hospital laboratory
- Further training or experience in process management / Lean Hospital / Six Sigma is an advantage
- Completed trainer course or willingness to complete it
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and confident handling of MS Office as well as practice software
- Independent, structured working style with high quality awareness
- Empathy and joy in dealing with elderly people and their relatives
- Resilient, communicative personality with team spirit and organizational strength
- The workload is spread over four days – Tuesday is your day off
- Further training or experience in process management / Lean Hospital / Six Sigma is an advantage
- Completed trainer course or willingness to complete it
