About the job
The Department of Aging and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in the five senior centers as well as with Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain first or additional experience in the field of housekeeping in a limited assignment of 6 to 12 months starting July 1, 2026, at the Brühlgut Senior Center.
Your Tasks
- Maintenance and basic cleaning of residents' rooms, public areas, and sanitary facilities
- Proper use of various cleaning machines, after introduction
- Preparation of our residents' laundry
Your Profile
- Good German skills and good understanding of the Swiss dialect
- Interest in getting to know the activities in housekeeping
- Enjoyment of physical and responsible work
- Helpful personality with joy in dealing with elderly people
- A warm and open-minded basic attitude
- Willingness to work weekend shifts
