Qualifications and Characteristics
- Completed craft training (roofer, carpenter, or similar) or at least 3 years of professional experience in timber construction
- Business fluent German skills in spoken and written form (level B2)
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and CAD skills are an advantage
- Manual dexterity and quick comprehension when learning new tasks and processes
- Motivation to acquire new knowledge in a technical environment and to learn how to operate machinery
- Enjoy working in a team, bringing great independence and flexibility to work in a two-shift system
About the Job
As a production employee, you are significantly involved in the precise manufacture of prefabricated roofing membranes. Your expertise in timber construction and your reliable and committed working style enable you to respond to specific customer requests and produce complex roof shapes. In addition to the prefabrication of our roofing membranes, you will also learn the production of our semi-finished and finished products. You control and monitor the production equipment to ensure smooth operation and a continuous material flow within production. With standardised cleaning and maintenance tasks on the equipment, you ensure compliance with production guidelines and quality standards. Through your active participation in optimising processes and systems, you contribute significantly to increasing overall productivity at SIGA. You bring ideas for improvement and are enthusiastic about the use of new technologies. Additionally, you support product and process development as well as maintenance during servicing tasks.What We Offer You
