Strategic Procurement Manager – 3PL & Warehousing (350)

In this highly strategic role you will manage approximately 35 Mio in spend for the logistics category, for warehousing, lend transports, etc., where you will have end-to-end responsibility for the process. Our client is looking for your procurement expertise in complex environments on a global scale.

Your Profile:

• 3-5 years of indirect sourcing experience in the logistics category, main focus being warehousing and lend transport sourcing activities
• Used to handle big RFQ's in a highly complex environment
• Used to working independently and working with suppliers all the way to contract negotiations
• You are passionate about data, you love to analyze, crunch, process and present data in order to manage cost analysis, budgets and reports
• Hands-on mentality with an autonomous work ethic and passion for supply chain and logistics
• Fluent in English is mandatory, Italian, Spanish or French language skills are a nice to have
• Eligible to work in Switzerland (Work Permit B or C or Swiss residency or EU citizen)

Your Tasks:

• This is a hands-on role where you will have end-to-end responsibility for your categories; it’s not a management role (no team lead)
• Contract third party logistic service providers on a global scale
• Collect data, complete concise market researches and negotiate conditions and contracts
• Lead RFX's, evaluate, analyze and assess results, document recommendations and effectively communicate results
• Manage, negotiate and implement contracts, then monitor their effectiveness
• Follow market trends and legislative changes
• Ensure compliance to all internal policies and external frameworks
