HVAC Project Manager (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a committed professional for project management and specialist planning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in an innovative building technology and engineering environment. You will take on the planning, coordination, and realisation of demanding building technology projects and accompany them from concept development to commissioning. The focus is on energy-efficient HVAC systems, modern CAD and BIM planning methods, as well as sustainable building technology solutions. The position is suitable both for experienced project managers and ambitious specialist planners who wish to develop into project responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Project management and specialist planning of demanding heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new build and refurbishment projects

• Planning and project design according to SIA phases from preliminary study through tendering to realisation and commissioning

• Dimensioning and design of HVAC systems including heating load calculations, air volume calculations, and hydraulic systems

• Creation of concept, project, and execution plans with modern CAD and BIM planning tools such as AutoCAD and Revit

• Technical calculations and system optimisations regarding energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and operational safety

• Coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams with architects, clients, specialist planners, and contractors

• Preparation of tender documents, specifications, and cost estimates as well as technical evaluation of contractor offers

• Cost, schedule, and quality management during all project phases including project controlling and progress monitoring

• Site supervision and construction coordination with regular site visits, technical inspections, and support of installation work

• Commissioning, functional checks, and acceptance of HVAC systems including review of technical documentation

• Further development of energy-efficient building technology solutions considering current SIA standards, new technologies, materials, and planning methods

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a building services technician EFZ specialising in heating or ventilation

• Further education as a certified technician HF in building technology or engineer FH in the field of HVAC/building technology is an advantage

• Professional experience in HVAC specialist planning and project design, ideally with experience in project management or corresponding development perspective

• Solid expertise in heating and ventilation technology, system dimensioning, energy efficiency, and relevant SIA standards

• Good user knowledge of CAD, Autodesk Revit, BIM, and Microsoft Office as well as experience with building technology calculation programmes

• Experience in tendering, execution planning, and site supervision as well as willingness to regularly visit construction sites

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
