Department Head

The Gesundheitsnetz Küsnacht AG (GNK) with the Tägerhalde and Wangensbach elderly and health centres, housing around 130 residents as well as a day care centre, Spitex, assisted living and counselling with a total of around 250 employees, is a non-profit public limited company wholly owned by the municipality of Küsnacht. For our protected residential group for people with dementia-related developments, we are looking for an experienced leader who lives the topic of dementia with passion. With heart, expertise and foresight, you will support 21 residents and a dedicated team, creating an environment where people feel secure and valued.

Your new tasks

• Organisational, personnel and professional leadership of directly subordinate employees as well as active participation in recruitment and conducting employee interviews
• In close cooperation with the nursing expert, responsibility for the further development and sustainable anchoring of the care and support of people with dementia
• Participation in direct care and support
• Active shaping of new structures as well as promotion of the professional and personnel development of nursing staff in cooperation with the department management
• Leadership and participation in projects as well as taking responsibility for defined specialist topics
• Ensuring, reviewing and further developing the RAI documentation including controlling

What you bring with you

• Qualification as a certified nursing professional HF/FH
• Several years of leadership experience and ideally further training in leadership or management
• Extensive experience in long-term care as well as in-depth knowledge in the field of dementia and gerontology
• Business understanding and entrepreneurial thinking
• Openness to change, enthusiasm for innovation and networked thinking
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as solid RAI and IT user knowledge
