We are looking for you to support our specialist school social work team.
Wädenswil is an attractive city on Lake Zurich; it has about 25,000 inhabitants. Around 2,000 pupils are taught in six school units at the primary school. We are easily accessible by public transport.

Your main tasks
- Advising and supporting learners with school and personal problems
- Planning and implementing preventive projects and measures
- Cooperation and exchange with teachers and professionals, school social work, care, school management, parents and external partners
- Promoting social skills and integration of pupils
- Crisis intervention and conflict management
- Completed studies in social work, social pedagogy or socio-cultural animation (FH or HF)
- Completed specialist training in school social work is an advantage
- Experience in experiential education and interdisciplinary work
- Professional experience in the school environment, parent work or in child and youth work is an advantage
- Knowledge in counseling and conducting conversations
- Skills in solution-oriented individual counseling with children and adults as well as in accompanying group-specific processes
- Empathy, communication skills and assertiveness
- Ability to work independently
- Teamwork
