Who are we?

The Justice of the Peace is the Authority for the protection of children and adults. As such, it acts on request or ex officio. At the end of the investigation, a decision is made whether or not to establish a protection measure. The Justice of the Peace also has jurisdiction in inheritance matters and in the area of bans.

Your tasks

• Managing the Judge's secretariat (diary, physical and electronic files)
• General correspondence (letters, summons, notifications)
• Telephone and counter reception
• Settlement and archiving of files
• Management of inheritance files and preparation of tax inventories upon death
• Various other administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the authority

Desired profile

• Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent training
• Several years of professional experience, experience within a judicial authority is an asset
• Flexibility, autonomy, sense of responsibility, stress resistance and discretion
• Ease in contacts and teamwork
• Good knowledge of common IT tools, Tribuna V3 and SAP programmes are an asset
• Excellent command of French with knowledge of German
