Apprenticeship Health Specialist EFZ 100%
Your training. Close to people. In the heart of life.
Do you want to learn a profession where you work with people, are on the move, and experience something different every day? Do you want to learn how to care for people and support them in living as independently as possible at home?
Then get to know us!
At Spitex Regio Liestal, care takes place where our clients live: in their own homes. During your training, you will learn step by step to take on more and more tasks independently. You will not be on your own: our trainers and your team will accompany and support you throughout your training.
What do you do as a Health Specialist with us?
With us, you will learn, for example,
- to assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, or other daily activities.
- to measure blood pressure and pulse and carry out other checks.
- to assist with wound care and dressing changes.
- to learn the correct handling of medication.
- to recognise changes in clients and know when to seek support.
- to prepare your assignments and document your work.
- to collaborate with relatives and various professionals.
- to take on more tasks independently as your experience grows.
Through external placements, you will also gain insight into other areas of healthcare during your training.
Does the training suit you?
You do not need to know everything yet – after all, you are doing an apprenticeship with us.
What is important to us is that you
- enjoy working with people and approach them openly.
- are reliable and keep agreements.
- work carefully and are willing to take responsibility.
- are curious, ask questions, and want to learn new things.
- want to work independently but also enjoy being part of a team.
- can ride a bicycle.
- have completed compulsory schooling by the start of the apprenticeship.
Independent – but never alone
Spitex means you do not work all day in the same place. You get to know different people and life situations and are on the move in our clients’ homes.
This requires independence – and this is exactly what you will learn with us step by step.
Our experienced trainers will accompany you throughout your entire training. You can ask questions, receive feedback, and take on more responsibility as your experience grows.
