About the job
03.11.2021
We are doubly honoured for the photovoltaic systems at the Calinis quarry and the new building.
On the occasion of the 31st Swiss Solar Award ceremony on 2 November 2021 in Geneva, we are awarded two Solar Award diplomas. One diploma may be accepted by Calanda Solar AG, of which we are the main shareholder, for the innovative photovoltaic system in the former Calinis quarry in Felsberg. The largest solar system in Graubünden, with 1,500 kWp, delivers 1.6 gigawatt hours of clean electricity from the region annually. The second Solar Award diploma is awarded to the forward-looking roof and façade system of our new building at Energieweg 1 in Tamins. Christian Capaul, Managing Director of Rhiienergie AG, is delighted with the two awards: "It is a great honour for us to be recognised twice and it also shows that we are on the right track with our strategy. More innovative PV projects will follow soon."
The Solar Agency Switzerland awards the Swiss Solar Award and the Norman Foster Solar Award for PlusEnergyBuildings (PEB) every year on behalf of the Federal Office of Energy (FOE), EnergySwitzerland, the cantonal energy directors and cantonal energy delegates, as well as in cooperation with supporting Solar Award partners, associations and federations. Solar awards and diplomas are given to individuals, institutions, renovations and solar systems.
