About the job
The Department of Supervision for Special Education and Therapies of the Canton of Schaffhausen is responsible for preventive and therapeutic services in the areas of speech therapy and psychomotor therapy for kindergarten and school children in mainstream education.
We are looking for, starting 1 August 2026, a
Psychomotor Therapist for 2 lessons (6.9%)
Your tasks
- Co-leadership of the large psychomotor group
- Planning, preparation and follow-up of the group
- Planning and implementation of psychomotor group offerings
- Observation and promotion of the motor, emotional and social development of the children
- Creation of a safe and stimulating movement space
- Communication with parents
Your profile
- Completed training or ongoing studies in psychomotor therapy
- Enjoyment in working with children and adolescents
- Knowledge in promoting perception, movement, motor skills and social-emotional development
- Ability to plan and conduct group offerings creatively and purposefully
- Appreciative, resource-oriented attitude towards children and their families
- High social competence, empathy and communication skills
- Observation and documentation skills
- Flexibility, resilience and sense of responsibility
