Mechanical Engineer 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Process Analytics develops, produces, and markets state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in biopharma, chemistry, and breweries. Our product portfolio includes sensors for critical process parameters such as pH value, oxygen, and sensors for measuring cell density, which are enormously important in biological processes and unique worldwide with their innovative technology.
What you can achieve:
- Interdisciplinary product development (mechanics, electronics, physics, chemistry) at the interface to product management and production.
- Contributing creative design ideas for simple, cost-effective, and reliable solutions
- Responsibility for the mechanical-constructive part of the product from the idea to series maturity (including assembly and testing of functional models and prototypes)
- Carrying out and evaluating technical calculations (e.g. tolerance calculations)
- Creating technical documents during the development process according to internal guidelines and processes
- Close collaboration both within the project team and with external suppliers and cooperation partners
What you bring with you:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering (FH/University)
- Solid CAD skills (preferably Creo Parametric)
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Independent, reliable, and structured working style
- Curious and helpful personality who enjoys working in interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of the ISO GPS standards system is desirable
